Office of the Permanent Secretary

Office of the Permanent Secretary is responsible for developing strategy and adapting policies of the Ministry into action plan, allocating resources and being responsible for the general administration in order to achieve the Ministry's objective efficiently and effectively.

Functions :
1. To study, analyze and provide the significant data for formulating policy in order to achieve the objective of the Ministry effectively.
2. To develop strategy for administration.
3. To adapt policies into guidelines and action plan.
4. To allocate and administrate resources for highly benefit of Ministry.
5. To monitor, accelerate, follow-up and evaluate the agencies within the Ministry and co-operate with the others Ministries and the agencies concerned.
6. To develop the information technology system for administration and providing IT services for the agencies within the Ministry.
7. To carry out public and foreign relation works including to improve and update law and regulation concerning with science and technology.
8. To carry out works according to the Ministry's functions and Cabinet's disignation.

Office of the Permanent Secretary consists of four offices as follows:
1. Office of General Administration
2. Information Technology and communication Center
3. Office of Policy and Strategy
4. Office of Technology Transfer and Promotion
