Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Minister of Science and Technology, chaired the the Honoring Award Ceremony for Thai Students who received award from International Academic Olympic Competition on Astronomy and Physic in Korea and Iran subsequently on 9 November 2009 at the main hall, Phra Chom Klao Building, Ministry of Science and Technology. Dr. Khunying Kalaya hope that this reward will motivate the Thai youth and students to realize the importance of science and technology, especially in the field of astronomy.

         Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Minister of Science and Technology, chaired the press coference on the Introduction of the First Thailand Prototype Robot which is used for commerce. The robot named “CT” is invented by Thai engineer of CT Asia Robotics Company Ltd. Dr. Suppachai Lorlohakarn, Director, National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), Mr. Chaloempol Punnotok, Committee Chairman, Asia Robotics Company Ltd. and Executives attended the event on 9 November 2009 at Ballroom 3, Conrad Hotel.
