On 7 September 2009, at Rachaphruk  AB Room, 2nd floor, Rachaphruk Grand Hotel,  Nakhonratchasima , Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Minister of Science and Technology, chaired the press conference and signing ceremony of  Science and Technology  Network Village Project, pilot small biomass plant for the community.  The  project is developed with an aim to develop alternative energy in the community through the use of agricultural waste,  the promotion of fast-grown trees  used  as raw materials for  electric generation which  will  add value to agricultural product in the village.     The project is  in cooperation with  Ministry of Science and Technology, Suranaree University of Technology  ,  and Nakhonratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization .

National Science and Technology Development Agency, Ministry of Science and Technology , in cooperation with True Cooperation Public Company Limited,  held “Talk on Miracle Science All Around”  on 13 September 2009 at True Coffee, 2nd Floor, Siam Square Branch  Soi 3.
